These Donation Terms & Conditions apply to all donations made to Gut Für Besser – Good For Better e.V. via the website https://goodforbetter.org.
By making a donation, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the terms set out below.

1. About Good For Better

Gut Für Besser – Good For Better e.V. is a non-profit organisation registered in Germany and dedicated to improving access to clean, safe drinking water through sustainable water filtration solutions. All donations made via this website support our charitable mission and related activities.

2. Making a Donation

Donations can be made online through our website using donation forms powered by GiveWP and processed securely via Stripe and other supported payment providers.

You may choose to:

  • Make a one-time donation, or
  • Set up a recurring (monthly) donation, where available

All donations are voluntary and made without receiving goods or services in return.

3. Payment Processing

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe or other third-party payment providers integrated with GiveWP.
  • Good For Better does not store full payment or credit card details.
  • Payment data is handled directly by the payment provider in accordance with their security standards and privacy policies.

4. Donation Confirmation & Receipts

After a successful donation:

  • You will receive an automatic confirmation email.
  • Donation confirmations and receipts are issued electronically.
  • Please ensure your email address is entered correctly during the donation process.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us via the website.

5. Use of Donations

Good For Better commits to using donations responsibly and in line with its charitable mission.

Donations may be used to support, among other things:

  • Sydney 905 Filters water filter kits and related equipment
  • Training and distribution through partner organisations
  • Project implementation, monitoring and reporting
  • Administrative and operational costs necessary to deliver our work

Where donations are made for a specific purpose (for example, “Fund a Filter Kit”), we will make every reasonable effort to use funds accordingly.
If this is not possible, donations will be allocated to similar charitable projects aligned with our mission.

6. Refund Policy & Right of Withdrawal

Donations to Good For Better are generally non-refundable, as they are voluntary contributions to a non-profit organisation. In accordance with EU consumer law, donors acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to charitable donations once the payment has been completed.

However, refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • Duplicate donations
  • Technical or processing errors

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the donation date and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Recurring Donations

If you set up a recurring donation:

  • The selected amount will be charged automatically at the chosen interval.
  • You may cancel or modify your recurring donation at any time using the link provided in your donation confirmation emails or by contacting us directly.

Cancellations or changes apply to future payments only.

8. Tax Deductibility

Donations may be tax-deductible in accordance with German tax law, depending on your personal circumstances. Good For Better cannot provide tax advice. Donors are advised to consult a qualified tax advisor or the relevant tax authority for guidance.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data collected during the donation process is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. We respect your privacy and will not sell, rent or misuse your personal information.

10. Errors & Technical Issues

Good For Better is not liable for donation interruptions or errors caused by:

  • Internet connectivity issues
  • Third-party payment providers
  • Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
